Google buzz

Today when i signed in with gmail to read my emails, i saw a new tab named as google buzz. I clicked on buzz tab. I saw a welcom note which was

        "Buzz is a new way to share updates, photos, videos and more, and start conversations about the things you find interesting. You're already set up to follow the people you email and chat with the most. Your Google Reader shared items, Picasa Web public albums, and Google Chat status messages will automatically appear as posts in Buzz. To edit your connected sites or change privacy settings, view connected sites."

I post a buzz there and got great response from my friends. Its reaaly great and really easy to use. Now when online communication is raising day by day, Buzz has explodid the new way to share your thoughts, likings, dislikings, pictures, videos and links with your friends on web. With google buzz you can stay more connected to more people. As you guys use different social sites like twitter and send messages through different sites like gmail etc., you spend too much time on web and tough to sort through it all. You want a plateform to get connected with all your friends on single place and want to get more friends and want meaningful conversations only then you must go for google buzz.

Buzz is a new way to start sharing the things you think worth to share on web. You dont have to start a new set up and also dont need to find new friends. Because as you know, there's been a big social network underlying Gmail. Google Buzz brings this network to help you in setting you up to follow the people you email and chat with the most. Google Buzz is easy to use and you can share photoes, videos and links very easily.  One great thing is that if you want to make something private, you can do it easily and dont have to use different tools for that. Buzz integrates with your existing Gmail inbox, so you will get the stuff that matters most to you.

Buzz is available to all Gmail accounts, so if you don't see it in your account yet, check back soon. Google also plan to make Google Buzz available to businesses and schools who are using Google Apps. With Google Buzz, they will get added features for sharing within organizations.

Google buzz is also available on your phone, Google Buzz is much more than just a small screen version of the desktop experience. I will not discuss much about it here. I will only talk about buzz on web.
Google Buzz is really useful for your blog promotion. From your gmail account post your link in Buzz, give little description also and see a response. I really hope you guys will get positive response. Google Buzz can be a great source of traffic to your blog.

how to add Pages in my blog?

Most of the bloggers wanted to have pages in custom templates of blogs like website templates. Now Blogger introduced this feature also. Blogger Pages lets you to publish pages like Products, About us and Contact us page.

you can create this page as you create new post. After signing into blogger, go to posting tab. Click on it, you will see a new tab there named as Edit Pages. Click on Edit Pages then click on new page. After making new pages, the Edit Pages would look like the page as shown in this image.

you can create upto ten pages like this. When your pages will be published then you can link to that pages from the new Pages widget. The Pages widget lets you add links to your page as tabs at the top of your blog, or as links in your blog's sidebar. It depends on you that where you like these tabs on your blog.

you can also decide which pages will have links, and in what order they will appear. You can also choose whether or not you want links automatically created for pages when you create them by checking or unchecking the box to the left of Add new Pages by default.

How do I add the Following gadget to my blog?

AdSense itself helps in promoting your blog. It provides many gadgets to attract and people to your blog as well as to make them to come back easily to your blog whenever they want. Here we are going to talk about Followers gadget. This gadget helps your readers to come back to your blog because readers often visits a blog and like that blog but fail to return to that blog. You must encourage your readers to follow your blog and put Followers widget at prominent place on your blog. So that readers easily find it and follow you.

Let me tell you how to add Follower widget to your blog.

First go to the Layout|Page Elements tab.

Click on Add a Gadget link.

Click on save button.

You have now added the following gadget to your blog.

When your readers become followers of your blog then their profile picture will be displayed in your Following widget.

Your followers will be displayed next to the blog name on your dashboard as shown in following image.

Tell your friends and audience about following gadget and say them to follow you. By doing this you can show your blog's popularity. Post regularly to make your readers to come back on your blog frequently.

Its amazing that after so many posts, I am now going to discuss about the main and very primary thing about a blog. But friends there is a reason for discussing this topic with you. The reason is that popular topics change over time.

Millions of people use web services daily and they want to see the sites which are about latest trends. So the blogs which are about old trends, they dont get more traffic to their blog as compared to the blog which is about latest trend.

For example, its an age of netbooks and advanced technology. More and more search for advanced technology and netbooks on the web. Very few people search for tablet PCs and simple laptops. So the blog having niche about netbooks and latest technology getting much more traffic than the blog having niche about tablet PCs.

Secondly, a blog should be focused on a specific topic. There are lots of aspects of a single topic. Technology is a single topic but it have too many aspects like cell phones, laptops, cameras, cars and aeroplanes etc. If you select one of them then you would be paid more by AdSense.

Thirdly, you must select a niche on which you think you can write for almost 12 months. Because a specific niche have fame for 6 to 12 months. For example, my friend sara selected the topic of diabetes. She wrote about its causes, its stages, its remedies etc. But after two months she started feeling that there is nothing left to write about diabetes. And finally, she stopped writing for that blog.

How i can delete my blog which i don't like?

When i started blogging, i made three blogs. But after somedays, i realised i cant manage three blogs at a time. I wanted to delete my fashion blog in which i share my jewellery's photos with my friends. But i couldn't delete.

Today when i opened blogger for posting, i saw in Settings: basic tab that i can delete my blog. there was a line like this.

You can import posts and comments from a previously exported Blogger blog, export this blog, or permanently delete it.

Then i clicked on delete blog . After that a new page opened and there was two options. 1. delete this blog 2. cancel

How i can delete my blog which i don't like?

   I clicked on delete this blog. And thats how i deleted my blog. By deleting blog like this, blog does not get deleted forever. You can restore your blog  before 90 days otherwise after 90 days, your blog would be deleted forever.

What does it mean to "burn" a feed?

I hope you would be enjoying blogging. and i also hope that you guys also do feed work. when i first started all this i thought burn a feed mean that to delete feed which is totaly opposite to its real meaning. i m sure you would be laughing now. anyhow now when i came to know what does it really mean then i want to share it with you people.

Burn a feed means that your feed gets passed through Google with a new URL. When you use the URL for your Google-powered feed, your users will see your content along with the Google ads that you've added. Google will automatically check for updates in your feed every 30 minutes, so your content will always be fresh and you dont have to do it manually.

Your original feed will still exist, and you can direct users to it, but it won't have Google ads. So make sure to direct traffic to your burned feed that is powered by Google -- the one that starts with http://feeds2.feedburner.com.
